The mission of the Rhode Island Progresssive League is to promote, restore and protect the core values of healthy democracy in local, regional, and national issues of government and policy through public dialogue, support for candidates, coordination with other organizations and sponsorship of events and activities. We, the members, agree that a commitment to peace, justice, tolerance, reason, compassion and responsibility is necessary to defend our Democracy and enhance our country's participation in the neighborhood of nations.
